Challenge #3 is an idea from our girl Lindsay.
Create a layout or project that includes a fun, whimsical element that is not necessarily something you would see in everyday life. For example, the garden gnome in Amelie, a monster or fairy. Have fun with this and be sure to use as much imagination as possible!

Can you describe your style?
I'm not sure what you would call my styleI like simple yet sophisticated, muted yet colorful. One thing i am sure of is my love for texture and paint.

How does Amelie inspire you?
Amelie is so charming and i love that she loves to focus on the little things in life. She makes each moment count. Her world is filled with colorful and charming whimsy. Each scene from the movie is filled with wonderful eye-candy from the settings to the music to the character's emotion. And who doesn't love a fairy-tale ending?

Anything you would like to add?
I am very excited to be a part of something so inspirational and among so many talented ladies.

In the movie,Amelie found a box in her apartment filled with little memorabilia. That inspired us for Challenge #2.It doesn't have to be a box.It can be a layout,a mini album or a frame.Simply anything that can hold memorabilia. Please link your creation for the 25th of April in the comment section.

Our awesome sponsor this month is ScrapDiary!!A great company that has their own exclusive papers and embellishments.

I like to introduce to you our new DT member Lindsay!

Please tell us a little bit about yourself.
I'm a 22 year old realist from Maine, who happens to love anything that is visually inspiring, the smell of freshly cut grass and coconut iced coffees from Dunkin' Donuts. I've been scrapbooking for a little over a year, but have been crafty ever since I wrote 'I love you, Mom' on a rock for my Mother for Mother's Day back when I was a little one. Of course, I'd like to think I'm much more creative now! :)

Where can we see your work?
You can see the rest of my creative endeavors on my blog and @ SIStv.

Can you describe your style?
That's a tough one. I find that sometimes I'm a bit all over the place. It's just really a combination of things I love. I love funky, bright, bold, fun and whimsical, but I also love soft and shabby, vintage and eclectic.

How does Amelie inspire you?
Amelie is an endearing movie. I was inspired by the simplicity of it all...how joy can be found in the little things in life and the realization that all of the wonderful little things add up to a much bigger thing. Also, the gnome. I love gnomes!

Anything you would like to add?
I'm very thankful to be a part of such a talented group of artists and to be able to take part in the wonderful inspirational journey that I know this is bound to be...
