Of course, we all remember the enchanting scene in "Amelie" where Amelie uses the arrows to direct Nino on his quest to find her, right?Well, that's going to be our next challenge! Only, our spin is this...Use the concept of a map on your layouts/projects and don't forget to include some arrows! You can do all sorts of things with this...a treasure map, directions, a map of places you've traveled, include a portion of a map, etc. Basically, let your imagination run wild with ideas, as long as the basis has something to do with a map!And as we mentioned, don't forget the arrows! This can be one arrow, 2 arrows, as many arrows as you'd like.
Good luck to all and remember, this is due on the
21st of September.

Can you describe your style?Well i think that is difficult...But i know that at the moment,i am a colorfull, crazy funky scrapper, who love to combinate scrapbook items with non scrapbook items.I am addicted to everything that is Kawaii, fabrics with funny prints ,and i love to learn new techniques.
How does Amelie inspire you?Hey,do i have to answer that??Come on have you seen that amazing film!!Not?? shame on you... I love every bit of it.Such pure magic. If you have seen it,you know why it is so inspiring for so many of us.I love to play it over and over again, can't get enough of it...
Anything you would like to add?One important thing.Always be yourself and believe in yourself! Then the artist will rise.. Everyone is creative, only in other ways. I always try to look possitive, but that is not easy in this world.I try to be a good person for myself and for others. Not that I expect something back in return,i just love to share..
Please tell us something about yourself. My name is Penelope Lach, but I usually go by Penny. I live with my husband and two dogs in a small island community in Southwest FL. I will be 30 in two years, but haven't really decided if that bothers me or not. Polka-dots and embroidery floss make me happy. I love to take photos, but never seem to remember to take my camera anywhere.

This is always a hard one for me. I guess bright and funky with excessive use of sandpaper and emroidery floss. I sew on EVERYTHING!
How does Amelie inspire you?
The movie is just so pretty. The colors, the camera angles. And I love that she lives in her own little world....kinda like me.
Anything you would like to add?
I am so excited to be a part of this team! I hope I can inspire people to just MAKE SOMETHING.
PennyPlease tell us something about yourself.Born and raised in California, but never a "Californian"; I escaped in 2001, rail-bound for Seattle where I met my wonderfully geeky hubby. Since then, our work has taken us all over the US, Japan and Europe. Currently we're living in an old stone farmhouse in central France with our 2 small dogs and far, far too many spiders for my liking... but I really can't complain. Work-wise, I can typically be found whipping up identity packages and interfaces for various projects, as well as designing scrapbook product for Prima.
Where can we see your work?I try to post at my blog as much as possible (doyoudigi.com), and I've got a bunch up at SiStv too:
http://www.scrapinstyletv.com/profile_6542.htmlCan you describe your style?I can try! Let's see... I guess it's easiest to sum things up with adjectives like "bold", "graphic" and "edgy", but I really like to think of my work as dynamic... undulating with life's joys & challenges.
How does Amelie inspire you?Visually, the film is so full of inspiration - it's hard to turn away. The oversaturated hues and luscious textures are absolutely magnetic for me as a graphic artist. The closer I study this film, the more I appreciate Jeunet's flawless execution of the principles I follow religiously in my own work; contrast, repetition, alignment and proximity. Sigh. Pure genius.
Anything you would like to add?Only that I'm SO incredibly stoked to be a part of this amazing team!! I think Amelie is a film that sings to so many different people on so many levels, and I'm confident in its ability to conjure up the artist in anyone. ^_^
Valerie Please tell us something about yourself.
Hello, my name is Candice Reszko, Candy or Kansas for short. I was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV where I still reside but where my heart truely longs to be is in the country living life style. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with God, spending time with my hubby of almost 7 years and our two little ones, drawing, singing, writing, and ofcourse scrapbooking! Whew! That is a long list! LOL! There is just so much that I LOVE to do and it always includes art with me. My life long mission is to always encourage and inspire not only others, but to be encouraged and inspired myself. I know that I don't know it all and I like it that way and am always prepared to learn.
Where can we see your work? You can see a majority of my work here.
http://www.scrapinstyletv.com/profile.phphttp://theonedivinehand.blogspot.com/Can you describe your style? My style consist of a mix of styles. I try not to limit myself but if I had to choose something that most describes what I love to do on all my projects it would have to layering. I definately have a layering type of style.
How does Amelie inspire you?Amelie inspires me through a world of her own she creates. I quite often am teased about how I zone off to my own world. LOL! There is just so much beauty to take in all around us that I just get lost in it from time to time.
Anything you would like to add?I would just like to say that I feel very blessed to have this gift of art. Be inspired everyday because we are all works of art in our little way.
